It’s time to start getting your garden ready for the 2010 Floral St Peter Port Parish Competition!

The deadline for entries is the 5th July. Judging will take place between the 12th and 14th July.

  • Public Building
  • Private Gardens (Road frontage only, any size)

The winners of the 2009 Floral St Peter Port Parish Competition are: Mr and Mrs Rumens in the private gardens category, Harbour Lights in the hospitality category, and International Law Systems in the commercial category. Trinity Square received a special Judge’s award for their community effort. All the entrants did brilliantly, and the judges reported struggling to choose the winners! Well done to everyone who took part.

The judging was by 3 independent local judges, and took place between the 13th and 16th July 2009.

2008 Parish Competition Results

In 2008, an overall first prize was awarded in each category at an informal prize giving ceremony, followed by a buffet. The Commercial Premises category was won by the Tourist Information centre, who received a trophy. The Harbour Lights / White D’Or won the Hospitality premises trophy, and Gary Guilmoto received £100 of gift vouchers for winning the private gardens category. A special judges award for community involvement was presented to the residents of Maison Collivet. All the entrants were presented with a certificate; congratulations to everyone!

 
Judging was by three independent (local) judges and took place between 30 June – 5 July.
